What is the downtime?

There is no downtime. You can do the drip treatment and can return to normal activity. There are a few simple precautions:  Leave the bandage on for at least 15 minutes after the IV has been removed; Keep the area dry and clean for at least 1 hour after the treatment; Avoid intense activity, physical exercise or stress to the IV site for 24 hours.
