Why a credit card is needed to confirm a spa appointment at Euphoria.
The appointment booking process at Euphoria has evolved over time with the growth of our business and changes in technology. The practice of using a credit card to confirm a booking is common with larger spas. I want to explain why we use this booking protocol:
1) Highly Specialized Staff:
Not all technicians and specialists are the same, and therefore do not work the same hours. When you book with us, we book that specialist’s time in advance to ensure they are here to deliver your service. Space and technical equipment are also allocated in advance for that appointment. Despite what many people think, “no-shows” (with no notice) for a pre-booked appointment happen quite a bit in the spa business. As a result, the spa must then compensate that specialist for their pre-booked service.
2) Online Booking Technology:
We have invested in an excellent online booking system to be responsive to all of your booking needs. When you first book through our system you get access to a calendar, which matches your selected service to your schedule. You first have the opportunity to select the service and provider without giving any other information. You will then receive further communication to confirm this appointment with a credit card or gift card number. Once the appointment is confirmed you are able to cancel in advance using this system or by calling our spa desk.
Please note:
• You can cancel a pre-booked service up to 24 hours in advance and not be charged for the service.
• Any credit card or gift card information we keep is held securely within our system.
What if I cannot make it to an appointment?
At Euphoria Wellness Spa, we require the courtesy of a 72-hour cancellation notice on all spa packages and a 24-hour notice on all spa services. Any missed appointments or appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged 50% of the treatment or package rate after a first warning.
Where can I park my vehicle?
There is a private parking lot conveniently located directly beside the entrance to Euphoria Wellness Spa. Please note this lot is NOT owned by Euphoria Wellness Spa and we do not control the price to park nor manage the lot. Currently the rate to park is $2/hour per vehicle to a maximum of $8/day per vehicle.
If you do not wish to park your vehicle in this particular lot, there are many city owned metered lots within a short walking distance as well as metered curb side parking directly in front of the spa.
What if I arrive late?
Arriving late is another top spa question we often get asked. Late arrival may require us to cancel or reduce the length of service with full charges applied. This policy has been established to ensure that our therapists are compensated for the time they set aside for your appointment. Without proper notice of cancellation, Euphoria Wellness Spa will be unable to rebook these appointments with other clients. We appreciate your co-operation and understanding of this policy.
Do I need to fill out paperwork before a treatment?
If you are new to Euphoria Wellness Spa, you will need to fill out a client form for our facial or body treatments, registered massage therapy, laser packages and some waxing services. A client form provides our therapists with the necessary information to complete a treatment safely and without complication. Conditions such as pregnancy (or possibility thereof), recent surgery and various other conditions can conflict with certain treatments. It is in your best interest to complete the necessary forms to the best of your ability. All information collected on a client form is strictly confidential and is only shared with the therapists who will be completing your treatment. For further information, please refer to the Client Form.
Do I tip for spa services?
Tipping is never expected, but always appreciated.
The standard gratuity for spa and salon services is 15%-20%. This is just a guideline, since tipping is at your own discretion, depending on your level of satisfaction.
When bringing large groups, please ask about our group tipping protocol.
Do I need a consultation before I receive any medical esthetic treatments, such as facial fillers or vein therapy?
Before your medical spa appointment, a free consultation from a trained Euphoria Wellness Spa consultant is necessary. Consultations are required in order to assess your needs and explain the various treatments best suited to you.
A schedule of medical treatments will be made available through consultation with one of our trained technicians.
