Welcome to Canoe Co. Cafe. Located at 290 Water St., downtown Peterborough, ON. We chose this name/look because our building was the former home of the Peterborough Canoe Company, founded in 1892- manufacturing wooden canoes in a factory located at the corner of King and Water Streets until 1961.
We are Peterborough’s only licensed Starbucks Cafe and Gelateria and we are proudly serving every body. Find your favourite Starbucks Coffees, Teavanna Teas, Wine, Locally produced Craft Beer, decadent pastries, takeaway lunches and snacks and of course, fresh, homemade Italian Gelato!

Our Walk-Up Window is conveniently located off Water Street. You can place your order at our window for quick take-away or come in side to see our daily offerings.
